Colours of Red Deer

I just got back from Canada, Red Deer Alberta to be a bit more precise. The Senior Resource Center there asked me to make a piece that was as tactually accessible as it was visually. Bravo for them!

Unveiling in Red Deer

I want to thank - Pat Matheson, Public Art director extradionair and Andrew Dale, director of Golden Circle and for making this project so much fun. I am impressed with the committee's dedication to the idea that art should be accessible.

I also want to send a big thank you to Michael Dawe our Storyteller. He wove stories connecting the illustrations to Red Deer and the Golden Circle history into a wonderful tapestry.
